Remedial Massage
Remedial massage is a deep massage that helps the body return to optimal health after injury. It is used to treat strains, sprains, broken bones bruising. Deep tissue massage removes blockages, damaged cells, scar tissue and adhesions left after injury and encourages a faster recovery. The techniques used by the practitioner are designed to increase the flow of blood and lymph around the body, particularly in the injured areas. This encourages the body to heal.

During treatment if there is tenderness in areas that are being treated, it indicates which muscles and tendons are injured. The practitioner uses the client's feedback to pinpoint the damaged tissue and to regulate pressure. Within 1 to 3 sessions an improvement in pain and mobility should be experienced.
