~ Andrographis ~
Andrographis paniculata

Andrographis is found growing wild in India and Sri Lanka, and as a potent immune enhancing medicinal herb, it is commonly cultivated in all parts of the world.
It’s most common medicinal uses include:
- Common colds
- Immune boosting
- Influenza
- Snake and insect bites
- Digestive weakness
A member of the Acanthaceae family, Andrographis can grow up to 1 metre high and exhibits small white flowers with purple dots.
Respectfully known as the “King of Bitters”, Adrographis has an extremely bitter flavour, thus making it a desirable pre-digestive herb as well.
